this year i am celebrating my 40th year as a photographer. i turned professional in 1970, at the office of economic opportunity, and over the better part of the next several decades i have worked as a photojournalist, commercial photographer, and photo-illustrator. in my spare time i adventured out and about to perfect my vision of the hand of man on the land.

i lived in europe for a decade from 1979-89, and returned home to the us to enjoy its many freedoms. now i travel into and out from america in search of new vistas i can embrace for others to see.
